Founded February 5, 1958 by the late Gertrude Gipson-Penland, former Entertainment Editor of the Los Angeles Sentinel, the Regalettes, Inc. is an organization comprised of women working together in a "regal" manner, with the purpose to uplift and enhance the quality of life within the minority community. This year marks a major milestone in the organization’s history, celebrating 50 years of community service in education, community outreach and health.
