in her life. The combination of the event planning and
graphic designing services gave birth to Sarah’s
company “Save The Date.”
In the summer of 1999,
Sarah began working on the first draft of the quarterly
newsletter “Save The Date” that was released
in December 1999. The inspiration for “Save The
Date” came from her working closely with accomplished
event planner and sister, Wendy Gladney of PSP. Through
her work with Wendy, she came to have respect for community
and leadership and sought to help promote the good works
of individuals and institutions that strived tirelessly
to make a difference. Since then, Sarah faithfully produced
issue after issue continuously increasing its content
and circulation. Today, Save The Date Magazine hosts over
100 paid subscribers and more than 20,000 in readership

Sarah recognizes that
it is only through the gift from God that she was able
to achieve so much in such a little time—doing so
by having insight into the annual planning of special
events, designing each issue, and more importantly, building
solid relationships with community leaders of Greater
Los Angeles that resulted in much support and esteem.
On Thursday, January
9, 2003, Sarah celebrated the beginning of the 4th year
in circulation with an “Unveiling” Reception
to release the new look for the magazine’s masthead
