Southern California Edison Offers Free Information Sessions

Southern California Edison (SCE) will help its residential customers “follow the sun” with free sessions on the California Solar Initiative (CSI) program and the incentives it offers to homeowners who decide to “go solar.” Customers will learn about: Solar energy basics; Benefits of installing a solar energy system; Financial incentives through the CSI program; Tax credits and other financial models that can help reduce upfront costs. These 90-minute, nontechnical, easy-to-understand information sessions are held on weekday evenings and Saturday mornings at SCE Service Centers and other convenient locations throughout SCE’s service territory. The sessions are free but require registration because space is limited.

The event is free and great music will be heard. This is always a special time. EsoWon Books will be open from 12:00pm to 5:00pm for the Music.  We will have a special sale during that time on many, many books in the store. Keith Cross Presents: Senior Citizen Rap Class is a month-long workshop in which senior citizens study the evolution of Hip-Hop by exploring the jazz, blues, and soul roots of Hip-Hop music.  Hosted by independent hip-hop artist, Keith Cross, each student “graduates” by showcasing his or her emcee skills as they perform an original piece during a live show on Friday, July 31st. This class is FREE and open to people of all ages.
