The African American Men’s Health & Empowerment Summit will also be broadcast live on KJLH radio featuring a panel of doctors, health experts and qualified health educators who will inform and update listeners and attendees about important issues and concerns related to African American men’s health. Attendees will also have the opportunity to take advantage of FREE on-site health screenings, services and materials related to men’s health. Guest speaker will be Dick Gregory and it co-hosted by actress & “The View” co-host, Sherri Shepherd and KJLH’s Adai Lamar. LBCreative!, a Long Beach artist collective, will join with several art-related and community organizers to produce Carnival del Corazón, a Haiti benefit and festival featuring a silent art auction, live music, fire dancing, food, acro yoga, guest performances and more, Carnival will go from  4 p.m. to 9 p.m. Extended live music portion will be hosted by The Cellar, located at 201 East Broadway, Long Beach, CA 90802 from 9-1 a.m. Suggested entry donation - $5 to $20, all proceeds donated to the Yele Haiti Earthquake Fund.
