SAVE THE DATE Magazine
is the brainchild of founder and publisher, Sarah
Harris and the prevailing business entity for SAVE
THE DATE Media Group, LLC. First published in December
1999, SAVE THE DATE has established a unique niche within
Southern California as the premier resource for information
regarding events produced by and for the Greater Los
Angeles urban populace. SAVE THE DATE Magazine is published
quarterly and contains the Master Calendar of Urban
Events, editorials featuring professional, celebrity
and event profiles emcompassing information on conferences,
special events, festivals, political functions, business
affairs, entertainment, city projects, social gatherings,
non-profit endeavors, lifestyle management and much
more. Additionally, SAVE THE DATE plays an important
role in raising awareness on important social concerns
by highlighting the activities of various community
conscious companies and organizations and providing
a podium for community leaders.

Our mission is to be the leading
source for special events, community news, entertainment
and lifestyles information through our diverse media
network consisting of the magazine, website, event/business
planning products and services. Our emphasis consistently
focuses on community issues and lifestyle management.
We also aim to enhance the event planning experience.
By achieving our goals, we strive to be a contributing
factor in producing a considerable measure of unity
and raised consciousness among all the communities both
locally and nationwide.
VISION
Through an effective approach
to advertising, we envision SAVE THE DATE Magazine &
SAVETHEDATECentral.com as the leading source for multicultural
special events, public awareness information and business
networking nationwide. We also envision going beyond
our printed and online publications to provide the ultimate
network for event planning and community outreach through
innovative and enterprising concepts.
GOALS
Our goal is to take SAVE THE
DATE straight to the top with a network of diverse media
outlets that will enhance and promote community events
and give greater exposure for our advertisers. This
diverse media network will work much like the spokes
of a wheel, each spoke functioning independently yet
still relying on the others. When the wheel is in motion,
the spokes disappear and they become one unit with
SAVE THE DATE
magazine at the hub.
